Euro 2020 Qualified Teams: Who Has Gone Through?

The postponed edition of the UEFA European Championship only has a couple of months before it’ll be taking place. Thus, if you’re going to be betting on the Euro this year, it’ll be a good idea to know who the contenders are. Of course, by that we mean the Euro 2020 qualified teams. In case you’re not aware of how the qualification process works, we’ll be explaining it in full in the next section. Afterwards, you can find a table with the teams that qualified!

The Qualification Process of the Euro: How Does It Work?

Since there is a substantial number of host nations in this edition of the Euro, there will be no automatic qualifiers this time round. Therefore, even host countries have had to play to earn their spot in the competition.

The 55 participating nations were split into 10 groups (from A–J) of 5 or 6 teams each; these were determined through the qualifying draw. The winner and runner-up of each group then proceeded to the first 20 qualified teams.

The final 4 teams were determined through the European Qualifiers Play-Offs. These saw the 16 best teams from the UEFA Nations League (those that didn’t already qualify for the football Euro, that is) compete to secure the final 4 spots in the Euro.

The 16 teams were distributed into 4 groups of 4 teams. Rather than playing against one another, the teams had to play a semi-final and, if successful, a final within their group. The winning teams then successfully made it into the Euro.

Meet the Competition: The Euro 2020 Qualified Teams

The teams that managed to qualify have been distributed into 6 groups, from A–F. You may find the teams that successfully secured their spots in the football Euro, and to which group they now belong to, in the following table:
