Who Will Be Taking it Home? Odds for the Euro 2020 Final Football Match

Due to the immense strength of both teams, the competition is going to extremely tight. It’s going to be very difficult to truly predict who the winner might be. At the moment, the odds are favouring England by the slightest of margins.

Decimal OddsFractional Odds
England2.7017/10
Italy3.002/1

With odds like those, it’s nearly impossible to accurately guess who the winner could be. At the same time, these odds are bound to change, so do check up on them regularly. However, this is truly anyone’s game as the outcome can go any which way!

Indeed, there are many factors that pose themselves as an advantage to both teams. Firstly, the final will be held at England’s Wembley Stadium, which means that The Three Lions can savour that sweet home advantage.

However, Italy’s performance in the Euro has been phenomenal. In fact, Gli Azzurri have not conceded a single loss yet! Whilst England have been winning game after game, they did draw against Scotland, a team that’s far less strong than Italy’s.

Performances aside, there is also the question of playing style: can Italy’s methodical playing keep up with England’s dash-and-crash style? We’ve seen how Italy struggled to cope with Spain’s technical and forward-heavy style of play.

However, Italy’s tenacity and heavy emphasis on defence saved them in the end. On the other hand, England’s fast-and-physical approach can sometimes come off as clumsy and uncoordinated. Thus, it might be the case that England can’t quite break through Italy’s wall of defence.

We’ll be leaving you with that however, since, as we’ve already said, it’s nearly impossible to correctly predict who the real winner is going to be. Frankly, there’s only one real way to find out and that’s by watching the game this Sunday!
