NZC National Club Cricket Championship Betting

IPL Betting

The Indian Premier League, or IPL, is one of the topmost sporting events around and the most popular cricket league in the world. It’s an annual T20 cricket tournament that sees 10 teams contesting for the title of champion. Each team represents a different Indian city, and these are:

Starting from 2022, the IPL will have a new format owing to the fact that 2 new teams have joined the league. These teams are the Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans. So, instead of a round-robin format, the teams are going to be divided into 2 groups of 5 teams each.

The groups are based on the teams‘ historical performances so that the best team by historical performance will be in group A and the second best team will go to group B, and so on. Each team will be playing 14 games for a total of 70 games in the league phase.

In the league phase, a team will play every other team in its group twice, thus playing a total of 8 matches. A team will also play the teams in the other group once, with the exception of the team that has a similar historical performance to it, which it will play twice against. And this is how the 14 matches are played.

After the league phase, the top 4 teams go to the playoffs. The best 2 teams will play the first qualifying playoff, with the winner of this match immediately qualifying for the IPL final. However, the loser will get a second chance of qualifying for the final by playing the second qualifying playoff.

As for the other 2 teams: they play a knockout match and whoever wins will play in the second qualifying playoff against the loser from the first qualifying playoff. The winner will then proceed to the IPL final to play against the winner from the first qualifying playoff. The winner of the final is then pronounced the IPL champion!

The Ashes Betting

The Ashes is a Test cricket series that’s contested between England and Australia every year. This contest is the oldest on our list, having started in 1882, making it well over a 100 years old. This also means that the rivalry between the 2 teams runs deep.
